DETAILS:
Under the direction of Andrés Cárdenes, the CMU Chorus will join the Philharmonic on Poulenc's Gloria. Debussy's Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun and Maurice Ravel's Pavane for a Dead Princess will be conducted by Resident Conductor, Daniel Nesta Curtis. Under the direction of Thomas W. Douglas, the Choirs will perform Holst's In the Bleak Midwinter (arr. Thomas W. Douglas) and Joy Joy Joy (arr. Robert Page). Also on the program will be Gershwin's An American in Paris and the premiere of Mike Garson's Christmas is Here.
